Job Title: Software Engineer (Mission Control)

Location: West London

Salary range: Depending on experience

My client are a space satellite manufacturer, revolutionising space exploration by making satellite technology more accessible, modular and affordable, enabling rapid innovation and expanding capabilities for lunar and deep-space missions. They are seeking a Software Engineer to play a key role in designing and developing Software for advanced space technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for mission control systems and satellite telemetry.
• Design and integrate real-time operating systems and firmware.
• Perform code reviews and testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to enhance system integration.
• Maintain comprehensive software documentation and manage version control.

Skills & Experience

• Technical Engineering degree or a related field.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (ideally Space, Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear).
• Good understanding of mission control Software.
• Eagerness to manage and run multiple projects concurrently.
• 3+ years industry experience.
