Location and Employment Details:

• Location: Hybrid (regular travel to Exeter office); remote considered with quarterly travel to Exeter.
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Must have Right to Work in the UK: Yes (company does not provide sponsorship)
• Security Clearance: SC Clearance required

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain in-house software solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Write clean, reusable, and secure code to support operations.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance performance and user experience.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure software meets business needs.
• Collaborate with teams to align software solutions with business objectives.
• Maintain and optimize systems across multiple platforms.
• Manage code repositories in Azure DevOps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial software development.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, SQL, and .NET technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Git for source control.
• Structured, analytical mindset with attention to detail and debugging skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience developing cloud-based solutions in Azure (Azure SQL, APIs, Logic Apps, Websites, etc.)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerisation.
• Experience deploying and managing applications using Azure Logic Apps.
• Interacting with Web APIs.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Managing IIS web applications.
• Workday or ServiceNow integrations.
