Qualifications

• Commercial software engineering with C#/.NET.
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs.
• Familiar with event-driven or service-based architectures.
• Relational databases experience, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with automated testing, source control and code reviews.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical tasks and estimates.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
• AWS Lambda, ECS or EC2 experience.
• CI/CD and Docker experience.
• Observability, logging and monitoring.
• Secure coding and resilient app development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production software using C# and .NET.
• Develop backend services, APIs and event-driven applications.
• Work with PostgreSQL and AWS cloud technologies.
• Contribute to microservices, integrations and distributed systems.
• Support UI development using Blazor where required.
• Write automated tests and participate in peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues and support production systems.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks and contribute to delivery estimates.

You’ll be working on modern, scalable software across C#/.NET, AWS, APIs, event-driven architecture and distributed systems, with genuine scope to influence how the platform evolves. The business is also embracing AI-assisted engineering, giving developers access to modern tools and approaches to build better software, faster.

The role:

• Build and maintain production software using C# and .NET.
• Develop backend services, APIs and event-driven applications.
• Work with PostgreSQL and AWS cloud technologies.

Skills/Experience Required:
