Job summary

Visa is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Featurespace SaaS team, delivering cloud-native software on AWS. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build, test and operate scalable services with a focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline, or relevant professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing software using Java or Python.
• A good understanding of software engineering principles and how to write maintainable, testable code.
• Familiarity with source control, such as Git.
• An understanding of automated testing and its role in software development.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• An interest in cloud technologies and distributed systems.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and work across different parts of a system.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an engineering team.

Overview:

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the engineering team working on Featurespace SaaS, a Visa solution for fraud and financial crime prevention.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to develop, test and operate cloud-native software running in AWS. This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to work across application development, cloud services, data processing and platform technologies.

You don’t need to know our entire technology stack when you join. We’re looking for someone with good software engineering fundamentals, experience with Java or Python, a willingness to learn and an interest in building reliable, secure and scalable cloud software.
