Job summary

Sanderson is seeking a Software Developer to join a healthcare technology team in Cambridge. The role focuses on backend services, API development and data access layers, with opportunities to contribute to frontend work where needed.

You will design, build and test software for laboratory operations, cloud platforms and diagnostic products within a regulated healthcare environment, delivering robust APIs and services while collaborating with scientists and other engineers.

Qualifications

• Commercial software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience developing REST APIs and web applications.
• An understanding of object oriented design and software engineering principles.
• Experience using Git and modern development practices.
• The ability to investigate and solve technical problems independently.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

We are working with an innovative healthcare technology business that is expanding its software and digital capabilities. They are looking for a Software Developer to join the team and help build applications that support laboratory operations, cloud platforms and diagnostic products.

This is a predominantly backend focused position, developing APIs, data access layers, business logic and integrations. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to frontend development when required.

The software you build will be used within a healthcare environment and contribute directly to improving clinical and patient outcomes.
