Job summary

Veeqo Limited, now part of Amazon, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build software supporting our transition from acquisition to operating at Amazon scale. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other tech teams across Amazon.

This role suits a creative, technical person who enjoys a dynamic environment and aims to ship robust software near Swansea, Wales.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

As a Software Development Engineer at Veeqo, you will be designing and building the software to support our journey from recent acquisition to operating at Amazon scale. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, as well as other tech teams across Amazon.
