• Privacy - Offices in Iasi and Bucharest
  The team is responsible for creating and operating large scale, Amazon wide Privacy oriented services and tooling, giving global Amazon customers an easy and transparent way to exercise their right to know what data is stored about them and their “right to be forgotten”.
• Compliance Shared Services (CoSS) - Offices Iasi and Bucharest
  The team researches, innovates, advances the state-of-the-art, and builds ML systems to proactively identify safety and compliance risks in Amazon’s retail business.
• Shopping - Offices in Iasi only
  The team supports a variety of businesses at Amazon with marketing systems that elevate the customer experience and deepen the trust in our brand, by building tools that enable marketers to create in a self-service or automated way measurably effective, compelling customer experiences across Amazon’s owned and operated channels.
• Customer Behaviour Analytics (CBA)- Offices in Iasi only
  The team is responsible for processing massive datasets from website and mobile interactions to understand customer behaviour patterns. CBA owns the end-to-end insights pipeline, from data collection to deep analytics, providing trusted data and insights that empower decision-making across the company.

We are currently hiring for multiple tech teams that are paving the future of Amazon. During our interview process, you will have the opportunity to meet representatives from these teams to find out more about their scope and projects. Key job responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and delivery of software in ambiguous and complex problem spaces (at the team level). Trade-offs, you will work on complex problems but your solutions must be as simple as possible.
• Work backwards from customer needs into improvements, features and new components for the platform.
• Influence on your team technical and business strategy.
• Contribute in identifying and solving software deficiencies or areas where your team’s software bottlenecks the innovation.
• Think in terms of architecture, not just code.
• Think through functional, technical, security, performance, and scaling requirements.
• Explore and learn AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency.
• Ability to resolve the root cause of complex problems, leaving software better and easier to maintain.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
