Job summary

Amazon in the United Kingdom is hiring a Software Engineer to design and deliver systems that solve complex operational and optimization problems for our Middle Mile Transportation Tech teams.

You will turn ambiguous requirements into production‑ready software, build pipelines for intelligent agents, and own the systems in production while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to raise reliability and code quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Programming in Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with full SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations.

Requirements:

• We require experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• We require programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• We prefer experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
