Job summary

Amazon London is seeking a Software Development Engineer for IAM Stores Security to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems handling security-relevant data with high availability and low latency.

Creating reliable, scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. This position will require working cross-functionally across multiple teams and technologies.

• Partner cross-functionally with security, compliance, and service-owning teams to translate their requirements into platform capabilities.
• Contribute to technical direction: write design documents, lead reviews, and influence decisions across the team and partner teams.

What we're looking for

• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
