Software Development Engineer, Global Stores

The Global Store expansions team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to work on our Global Store technology stacks. This role involves enabling the launch of new Global Store regions with local language, currency, payments, and features. The Global Store strategy and roadmap are among Amazon's key initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing innovative technology solutions to reduce time to market, standardize processes, and support global expansion.

You will build, operate, and contribute to the evolution of our platform to address complex technical challenges including information extraction, large-scale computing, distributed systems, web applications, data mining, scalability, security, and algorithms. The role requires striving for simplicity, demonstrating creativity, and exercising good judgment. You will also stabilize daily operations, improve build and testing processes, and ensure compliance with organizational software and security standards.
