Lloyds Banking Group offers a four‑year Software Development Apprenticeship based in Edinburgh. You will split time between university study and hands‑on projects, coding and testing digital tools used by millions of customers daily.

The programme includes mentorship, a fully funded degree, and strong progression opportunities. Applicants should have strong UCAS credentials, be eligible to work in the UK, and reside in Scotland.

Qualifications

• You’ll need to meet UK residency and visa requirements for the duration of the apprenticeship.
• You must be eligible for Scottish funding criteria and reside in Scotland at course start.
• You must be at least 18 by February 2028 and have required UCAS points including Maths or Computing.

Responsibilities

• Code, test and build digital tools used by customers daily.
• Work on real-world projects across four years with mentoring and university modules.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to deliver scalable software solutions.
