Job summary

Aureos is seeking a mid-to-senior Software Developer to join the Helix Workflo division and work remotely.

You will build and maintain web and cross-platform mobile apps using PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript, collaborating with the Lead Developer and team to turn requirements into clean, well-tested code.

Qualifications

• Independence, initiative and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in PHP 8.0+ and Laravel 12+ with JavaScript.
• Experience with MySQL databases, Git workflows and AWS.
• Knowledge of Vue.js and modern front-end tooling.
• Proven track record on CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Experience refactoring production systems and live DB structures.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and deploy high-quality PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript code for web and mobile clients.
• Collaborate in sprint planning and help the team meet committed goals.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases; refactor legacy modules and optimise queries.
• Document new functionality in code comments and project wikis.
• Participate in peer code reviews to share knowledge and uphold quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues promptly; assist with AWS deployment tasks.
