Job summary

Aureos is hiring a mid-to-senior Software Developer for our Helix Workflo division. This remote role involves building and maintaining web and cross‑platform mobile apps, collaborating with the Lead Developer and team, and turning requirements into clean, tested code.

You will help shape new features, keep systems running smoothly, and ensure best practices are followed. Some in-person collaboration days may occur annually in Preston Brook.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PHP 8.0+ and Laravel 12+ with JavaScript and MySQL.
• Experience with Git and AWS in modern web/mobile apps.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and design-pattern knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and deploy high-quality PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript for web and mobile.
• Collaborate in sprint planning and help the team meet goals.
• Refactor legacy modules, optimise queries, and enforce coding standards.
• Document functionality in code comments and wikis.
• Participate in peer reviews and resolve production issues.
• Assist with AWS configuration and deployment tasks.
• Share insights on design patterns and best practices.
