Role Overview: Software Developer (.NET)

As a Software Developer (.NET), you will be crucial in developing high-quality software applications that shape our technological future. Working within an Agile team, you’ll drive continuous improvement, influence the product roadmap, and deliver impactful features to enhance user experience and business value. Your expertise in .NET and your ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders will contribute significantly to our innovative products and the growth of our tech team. This role offers a collaborative environment for learning, growth, and direct impact on our business success.

Daily Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to understand, enhance, and improve tools, services, and platforms, while refining team practices to increase efficiency.
• Work with internal and cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, streamline services, or develop new ones. Gather and document user requirements, write user stories, and meet stakeholder needs throughout the development cycle.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain code for web, mobile, and desktop applications in an Agile setting, adhering to coding standards. Participate in peer reviews and solution design discussions.
• Coordinate with QA teams to uphold coding standards, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for business users. Develop new features and enhance existing product functionalities.
• Gain a deep understanding of application architecture and adapt to new languages and platforms as needed. Mentor junior developers and contribute to product planning and future features, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your line manager, maintaining flexibility and role alignment.

Success Criteria

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Experience in managing client and team relationships, focusing on customer experience, growth opportunities, and continuous improvement.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, with strong prioritization skills under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Familiarity with Windows services, DevOps, Azure, CI/CD, security standards (OWASP, ISO 27001/27032), scalable applications, design patterns, and asynchronous programming techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and motivation to inspire others; a relevant degree is advantageous.
