Job Description

Our client, a leading Medical Device manufacturer, is looking to appoint an experienced and creative Software Developer with ERP System Development experience. In this position, you will work as part of the IT Department to oversee, maintain, and improve the technological infrastructure and resources within the organization to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives. This includes developing bespoke software to track and manage operations, validating software solutions, and ensuring integration with our client's NetSuite ERP System.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Software Development: Ability to create bespoke software using MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, and HTML.
2. API Integration: Proficient in using APIs to communicate between software platforms, including Microsoft 365, to create bespoke business reports, dashboards, and other customizations.
3. NetSuite SuiteScript Support: Configure reports and scripts (using SuiteScript), customize, and integrate NetSuite with other systems to support all departments and business processes, optimizing efficiency.
4. User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot software issues, deliver training, and ensure high employee satisfaction.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate software development and validation documentation following relevant quality management procedures.
6. Technology Evaluation and Adoption: Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, evaluate their potential to improve business operations, and recommend new solutions.
7. Website Support: Provide additional website/development support to colleagues as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Education Required: NetSuite Certified Developer (or similar ERP)
• ITIL Foundation or above
• A degree or higher diploma (HND) in any subject or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of software development experience

• Development skills and experience include SuiteScript (for NetSuite), MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, and HTML
• Software validation experience in a highly regulated environment
