Job Summary:
The Enterprise ERP Developer will support and develop existing and new ERP customizations and integrations. This includes integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications, ensuring secure data exchanges between on-premises and cloud-based systems. The role involves working with various ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics AX, IFS, Baan, Ivalua, BOOMI, among others. The Developer will gather requirements, develop technical specifications, create architecture diagrams, and present to review boards under the guidance of the development manager. Collaboration with security teams and creating integrations using various technologies and protocols is essential. The Developer will also analyze legacy reporting, map reporting needs, validate ERP data, troubleshoot issues, and conduct data analysis to ensure solutions meet performance and reliability standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with development of integrations between ERP systems and other non-ERP applications. Support the design, testing, and implementation of these integrations within architectural principles, policies, and guidelines. Identify and resolve system integration issues. Implement automation, audit, logging, and monitoring solutions. Support process improvements via integration and provide ongoing support and management of integrations.
  2. Assist with ERP development. Complete relevant training courses. Design, develop, and test customizations following ERP best practices. Develop maintenance scripts. Assist with data migration projects. Create, test, and maintain SQL/Oracle scripts to support related projects, including data updates, gathering, or troubleshooting.
  3. Reporting. Develop queries, reports, and outputs to support business reporting and validation needs related to ERP issues.

Knowledge & Experience:

Required:

  • The ability and desire to learn and adopt new technologies, concepts, tools, and languages.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and concepts.
  • Knowledge of data types, manipulations, and formatting.
  • Experience with relational database design and management, especially Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS.
  • Experience linking cross-functional applications between different business units and systems.
  • ERP platform experience, preferably with multiple systems such as SAP ECC6, SAP S4, Dynamics AX 2012, IFS, Infor XA, and Costpoint.
  • Experience in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data mapping.
  • Proficiency in at least one variant of SQL.
  • At least two years' experience with a programming language, preferably a .NET language.

Desirable:

  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services

  • Advanced Excel including VBA
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2019+
  • Experience with WinSCP, Postman, SOAP, RESTful APIs, Dell Boomi, XML & XML Paths, and procurement solutions like Ivalua.

Education and/or Experience:

Salary Range:

£41,900.00 - £83,800.00
