Job summary

Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ) in London or Birmingham is recruiting a Software Developer. Qualifications

  • Experience with Government Security Classifications and Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework.

  • Independent, proactive work ethic with clear decision making.
  • Excellent written communication and technical reporting skills.
  • English language required; ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation is preferred.

Job description

Salary: £36,500 - 64,500 per year
Requirements:
  • Competence in at least three of the following:
  • Experience and knowledge of the Government Security Classifications levels and an understanding of the Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework

We are Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ), recruiting a Software Developer to join our Technology team. This is a permanent, full-time role at Band N, based in London or Birmingham, working 36 hours per week. The starting salary is 55,662, including allowances totalling 3,009, with annual progression up to 57,417. We offer flexible working from home alongside office space in our air-conditioned operations centre east of Birmingham, with easy access from the M6 and M42, and a London office option is also available. We welcome flexible working arrangements where the role permits. This post requires National Security Vetting at Developed Vetting level, British nationality, and a confidentiality agreement.
