Job Description:

Paragon Alpha is working exclusively with an incoming EU Gas portfolio manager, who will be building the gas business within a $25BN AUM multi-strategy hedge fund.

The role involves working as a hybrid Data/Software Engineer on the desk, collaborating with a data scientist to build the trading and data infrastructure from the ground up, enhancing the trading process.

The focus will be on ingesting data from internal and external sources such as exchanges, weather APIs, logistics systems, and market feeds like ICE, CME, Reuters, and Bloomberg.

Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of relevant experience, with exposure to commodities data sets being a plus. Strong Python skills and experience with Airflow are required.
