Job Description:

Paragon is working exclusively with an incoming EU Gas portfolio manager, who will be building the gas business within a $25BN AUM multi-strategy hedge fund.

They are looking for a hybrid Data/Software Engineer to work on this desk. The successful candidate will collaborate with a data scientist and will be responsible for building the trading/data infrastructure from the ground up to augment the trading process.

The focus will be on ingesting data from internal and external sources, such as exchanges, weather APIs, logistics systems, and market feeds like ICE, CME, Reuters, and Bloomberg.

Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of relevant experience and some exposure to commodities data sets. Strong Python skills and experience with Airflow are essential.
