Alexander Dennis Limited is seeking an Engineer, Software & Controls to develop and test software for vehicle control systems on advanced buses and coaches. The role sits in a structured engineering environment, contributing to control architectures across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable systems, with a focus on quality and compliant processes while working onsite most days and one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer (or equivalent experience) with software and control systems background.
• Experience with model-based development.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

• Develop and test software applications for control systems on advanced vehicles.
• Design, develop and verify control architectures and software across the full product lifecycle.
