Job summary

Alexander Dennis Limited is seeking an Engineer, Software & Controls to develop and test software for control systems on our advanced vehicles. You will work within a structured engineering environment and contribute to design, development and verification across the full product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and customers, applying model-based development, and leveraging knowledge of vehicle systems, to deliver safe and high-quality control solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer (or equivalent experience) with a background in software and control systems within a complex engineering environment.
• Experience with model-based development and strong knowledge of vehicle systems or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Experience working within structured engineering or quality-driven processes will be key to success in this role.
