The team delivers IT services through the Digital Excellence function, focusing on license optimization, audits, and lifecycle management to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• End-to-end software license compliance management for the estate.

• Oversee software lifecycle management.
• Conduct audits comparing deployment to entitlement and report license position.
• Record Proofs of Licenses and maintain documentation.

Overview of department

Digital Excellence function providing IT Services to the business.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for management of end-to-end Software license compliance for software on the estate
2. Management of SNOW Software License management tool.
3. Knowledge and understanding of Software licensing rules, licensing Implications, software metering and methods to optimize utilization.
4. Advise on, design, implement and manage best practices and internal processes of licensing methodology to optimize costs.
5. Provide assistance and guidance to the userbase on software license procurement and utilisation
6. Software lifecycle management
7. Conduct regular and consistent audits across the estate measuring deployment vs entitlement, including the analysis of contractual and financial status, to understand and report on the effective license position.
8. Report and verify all software, versions & volumes installed on the estate.
9. Maintain the record of Proof of Licenses.
10. Maintenance of process and procedural documentation
