Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage is seeking an IT Software Asset Manager on an initial 12‑month contract. The role is hybrid with 2 days onsite and the rest remote, on a 37‑hour week at £65 per hour.

You will manage end-to-end software license compliance using SNOW, oversee the software lifecycle, conduct audits against entitlements, and advise on licensing strategies to optimise costs. Collaborate with Digital Excellence to ensure governance and data quality.

Qualifications

• SNOW licensing expertise and license management.
• Knowledge of software licensing rules and cost optimization.
• Auditing software deployments and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software license compliance for software on the estate.
• Administer SNOW software license management tool.
• Conduct regular audits comparing deployment to entitlement and report license position.
• Provide guidance on licensing methodologies to optimize costs.
