You will work in a virtual and matrix environment to ensure project delivery is executed to the highest standards, with risks and issues effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. This will entail working on multiple concurrent and complex projects.

Your main alignment will be within KPMG UK’s ITAM/SAM team, part of our ‘Contract Performance & Insight’ department.

What will you be doing?

  • Work across multiple complex projects for diverse clients.
  • Follow KPMG risk management processes.
  • Follow KPMG financial management processes.
  • Interact with client stakeholders daily.
  • Execute work plans to meet project scope.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement work plans.
  • Adapt working practices based on your audience.
  • Analyze software installation and consumption data.
  • Review software license entitlement and contracts.
  • Prepare reports and client deliverables.
  • Identify commercial risks or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist clients in implementing and tracking mitigation actions.

What will you need to do it?

  • Experience in software asset management, with proficiency in software licensing, including contractual, technical, and commercial aspects, and understanding of software technology and controls.
  • Knowledge of IBM software licensing, including application of licensing terms and management via tooling like IBM License Metric Tool, IBM License Service, or industry-standard SAM tools such as Flexera or ServiceNow.
  • Experience managing internal and external interactions, with comfort in a client-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with confidence, tenacity, and resilience.
  • Experience coaching and managing junior team members.
