Job summary

Tata Technologies Europe Ltd. is seeking a Software Architect - ADAS to lead investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex ADAS software issues across vehicle, system, and software layers.

The role requires expertise in AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, embedded C/C++, and Linux in automotive environments, with a focus on safety and cybersecurity standards. You will coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and software teams on critical defects and architecture changes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive.
• Strong embedded C/C++ skills.
• Experience with Linux in automotive environments.
• Knowledge of automotive Ethernet, CAN, and diagnostics.
• Experience in ADAS system architecture.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety.
• Knowledge of ISO 21434 cybersecurity standards.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex ADAS software issues across vehicle, system, and software layers.
• Drive root cause analysis for safety-critical and performance-related concerns.
• Resolve complex program blockers and software defects.
• Analyze system-level issues across ADAS application software, AUTOSAR layers, Linux/QNX platforms, middleware, networks, and sensor integration.
• Lead supplier issue resolution workshops.
• Coordinate with OEM engineering teams, Tier-1 suppliers, system engineers, and software developers.
• Elevate and resolve SOP-critical software issues.
• Support customer-facing technical discussions and escalations.
• Review software designs and architecture impacts of reported issues.
• Define corrective architecture changes to address performance bottlenecks, defects, safety, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and integration issues.
• Ensure fixes align with long-term platform architecture strategy.
• Ensure timely closure of program-critical defects and production escalations.
