Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Soft Services Area Manager to oversee cleaning and security across approximately 10 contracts in the North West. The role is hybrid with 1 day WFH per week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract, paying £16.85 per hour PAYE plus mileage.

You will manage site-based teams, ensure contractual KPIs are met, conduct site visits and reviews, and act as the main client contact, coordinating safety and compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• IOSH qualification required.
• Experience managing soft services (cleaning and security).
• Multi-site/contract management experience.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Location: North West – Mobile
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Rate: £16.85 per hour PAYE + Mileage
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Hybrid: 1 day WFH per week

Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is looking for an experienced Soft Services Area Manager to oversee approximately 10 contracts across the North West.

The portfolio consists of industrial, manufacturing and office environments, with responsibility for overseeing cleaning and security services.

This is a varied, client-facing role offering plenty of autonomy. You will be trusted to manage your own diary, organise site visits and prioritise your workload, provided contractual KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.

Requirements

• Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential
• IOSH qualification is essential
• Experience managing soft services, particularly cleaning and security
• Previous multi-site or contract management experience
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
• Good IT and reporting skills
• Confident working independently and managing competing priorities
