Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is recruiting Facilities Operatives for Soft FM across schools in Renfrewshire. The role covers cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol, security and related services, on a part-time basis. Hours are 25 per week: 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–20:00, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks.

Temporary post (12 months or until funding ends). Applicants should have literacy, numeracy and IT skills, be able to communicate effectively, and ideally hold a REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or

Qualifications

• Must have literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Desirable: working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to undertake training; Soft FM experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Soft FM services across Renfrewshire schools (cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol, security, and related tasks).
• Carry out cleaning and catering tasks as part of the Soft FM service.
• Support school crossing patrol and security activities as required.
