Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking enthusiastic Facilities Operatives to deliver a high-quality Soft FM service in Renfrewshire schools. You will be responsible for delivering cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol, and security tasks across site locations.

The role requires a flexible approach, literacy, numeracy and IT skills, and REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene certification (or willingness to train). A Disclosure Scotland check may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene certificate or willing to work towards.
• Experience in Soft FM or customer-focused environment desirable.
• Term-time role: 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 11:00–17:00.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality Soft FM service across Renfrewshire schools.
• Carry out building cleaning and catering duties.
• Support school crossing patrol and security tasks.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and colleagues.
