Soft Facilities Manager - Cleaning Services

Location: RAF Waddington | Salary: £29,107 per annum | Hours: 40/week | Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

ESS is looking for a motivated Soft Facilities Manager to lead a cleaning team of 30, ensuring exceptional facilities, cleaning, and accommodation services across your site. You’ll manage budgets, drive service excellence, and champion safety and compliance, creating a welcoming and professional environment for staff and clients alike.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 30 colleagues.
• Point of contact for all Waste Sub Contractors.
• Oversee facilities management, cleaning, and accommodation services.
• Manage budgets, resources, and third‑party suppliers.
• Maintain high standards through audits, quality checks, and client engagement.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and implement company policies.
• Deal with client queries and manage expectations.

About You

• Experienced in facilities or hospitality management, with at least 12 months managing a large team (20+).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• IT literate, numerate, and able to meet deadlines.
• UK manual driving licence.
• Desirable: NVQ Level 3, Health & Safety knowledge.
