Qualifications

  • BA or MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualifications.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience with children and families, preferably as a qualified social worker.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
  • Commitment to high practice standards and better outcomes for children and families.
  • Willingness to ongoing professional development.
  • Knowledge of separated children and asylum processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide social work support to separated children and families.
  • Carry out high-quality assessments and plans.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to secure stable outcomes.
  • Maintain professional practice with supervision and reflective practice.
