Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Worker to join the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) Case Holding Team in East Kent. This locum role offers an hourly rate of £38 with flexible full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to balance work and life while making a meaningful impact.

You will manage UASC cases, conduct assessments, develop care plans in collaboration with local authorities and external agencies, and provide guidance and advocacy for the children.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a portfolio of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) cases.
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans with local authorities and external agencies.
• Provide guidance, advocacy and support to children navigating a new environment.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UASC cases, ensuring each child’s needs and best interests are met.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans with local authorities and external agencies.
• Provide guidance, advocacy and support to children in the new environment.
