Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is currently looking for 2 experienced Children's Social Workers to join the Support & Protection Service on the Isle of Wight. Based at County Hall, Newport, Isle of Wight, the role involves statutory social work with children and families, focusing on safeguarding and risk assessment to ensure appropriate protection.

A generous package includes 42.00 per hour umbrella, up to 250 per week accommodation allowance and one return car ferry fare, with enhanced support for island

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant Children's Services experience.
• Experience working within statutory children's social care.
• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment experience.
• Ability to confidently manage complex children and family cases.
• Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills.

The package

• Based at County Hall, Newport, Isle of Wight

The role

As a Support & Protection Social Worker, you will be working within Children's Services, supporting children, young people and families who require statutory social work intervention.

We're particularly keen to hear from experienced Children's Social Workers with a strong background in statutory safeguarding and support and protection work.

Essential experience
