What you will do:

  1. Make transparent, evidence-based threshold recommendations on incoming contacts.
  2. Ensure information is collected, recommendations are made, and actions are taken within agreed timescales according to the level of risk identified.
  3. Undertake further enquiries, including MASH checks, on cases where the threshold is not clearly met and recommend the appropriate level of service to offer children and families within specified timeframes.
  4. Ensure confidentiality in information sharing within MASH and restrict access to MASH professionals only.
  5. Consider issues of consent appropriately in all aspects of work.
  6. Record work concisely and accurately on the Early Help Module IT system within agreed timeframes.
  7. Take referrals and provide advice to the public and professionals making contact with the CSCT.
  8. Keep referrers and contributing agencies informed of progress and referral outcomes.
  9. Develop and maintain knowledge of local services and effectively signpost the public and professionals to appropriate services.
  10. Work positively with professionals from partner agencies, promoting collaborative working, mutual respect, and professional behaviour.
  11. Engage in relevant training and other practice development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
  12. Assist with and promote the development of CSCT in response to changes, needs, or practice requirements.
  13. Actively participate in supervision sessions and team meetings.
  14. Achieve personal appraisal targets and share relevant information gained from training in team meetings.
  15. Undertake all other duties commensurate to the grade of the post.
  16. This post requires hybrid working, approximately two days a week in the office.
