Job summary

Southwark Council is seeking four Social Workers to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Southwark, London, to assess referrals, identify risk and safeguard children and families. Based at Queens Road, Peckham, you will manage a balanced caseload in a supportive, multi-agency environment.

Candidates will hold a recognised Social Work qualification (or equivalent), be registered with Social Work England, and have ASYE experience with UK MASH exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in identifying and assessing risks, needs and safeguarding concerns for children and families.
• Ability to analyse information from multiple sources to inform decisions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess risks, needs and safeguarding concerns for children and families.
• Conduct MASH intelligence checks with partner agencies and make recommendations on risk levels.
• Analyse and triangulate information from multiple sources to inform decision-making.
• Prepare and present cases at Threshold Meetings.
• Signpost and refer families to appropriate services and support networks.
