Job summary

Community Care Live is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to support children and families within locality teams across local communities. You will undertake assessments, develop plans, and coordinate with schools, health professionals, and partner agencies to deliver effective interventions.

This role offers flexible working arrangements, a balanced caseload, and strong supervision in a supportive team environment to achieve the best outcomes for children in need and looked-after children.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Experience in Children's Services, ideally in Locality, Safeguarding, or Assessment Team.
• Strong assessment, relationship-building, and case management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment to improve outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and develop effective plans for children and families.
• Provide ongoing support and intervention to children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other partner agencies to coordinate support.
• Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely assessments, reviews, and interventions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for meetings, conferences, and court proceedings where required.
