Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking a Social Worker to join the Locality team in Croydon, UK on a full-time ongoing basis. The role offers an hourly pay rate of £36.87, with the flexibility of locum assignments and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

The candidate must hold a social work degree, be registered with Social Work England, and possess substantial frontline UK Social Services experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Substantial frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.

Responsibilities

• Hold asset-based, person-centred conversations to identify strengths, risks, and needs
• Co-produce personalised support plans
• Formulate and execute plans to manage risk ensuring the achievement of desired outcomes
• Identify and intervene in alignment with Safeguarding Adult procedures when dealing with abuse allegations
• Respond effectively to emergencies, such as the breakdown of an existing care situation
• Conduct statutory assessments under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other pertinent legislation
