Job summary

Pro Social Partners Ltd in Cardiff is recruiting a permanent Social Worker for Localities, covering Looked After Children and Child Protection. You will work within Cardiff Council, handling complex cases and multi-agency partnerships to keep children’s best interests central.

You'll manage a caseload, undertake assessments, contribute to core group meetings, and support care planning and permanence work for looked-after children. Regular supervision and ongoing CPD support your career.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with current registration in Social Work Wales.
• Experience within Children's Social Care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads for children on Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families.
• Prepare reports for child protection conferences and core group meetings.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
• Keep children's voices central in assessments and planning.
• Support looked-after children with care planning, reviews and permanence work.]
