Job summary

Jobtailor in Greater London is looking for a Social Worker to support older adults and people with physical disabilities within Adults Social Care. You will work with residents, families, carers, and partner organisations to promote wellbeing and independence.

You will carry out complex and risk assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and Mental Capacity Act assessments when required, applying strengths-based and evidence-based practice while upholding professional standards to ensure decisions are

Qualifications

• Relevant Social Work degree qualification.
• Registered as a Social Worker with Social Work England.
• Experience with vulnerable adults.
• Experience as a practising Social Worker.
• Experience with comprehensive assessment framework including self-assessment.
• Experience creating clear correspondence and reports.
• Track record of high performance delivering customer-focused service.
• Experience participating in cross-functional networks.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Requirements

• Relevant Social Work degree qualification

• Understanding and experience working with vulnerable adults
• Relevant experience operating effectively as a practising Social Worker
• Understanding and experience operating with a comprehensive assessment framework including self-assessment
• Experience preparing clear and accurate correspondence, reports and other written documentation
• Record of high performance delivering a customer-focused service to demanding targets and objectives
• Experience participating effectively in cross-functional networks and local groups
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults
• Willingness to promote equality in the workplace and services
