Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified social worker to deliver high-quality, person-centered care and support to adults with care and support needs and their carers in Ipswich. You will undertake complex assessments, reviews, and risk-led safeguarding interventions, promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, apply Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, and use professional judgment to achieve positive outcomes within resources and budgets.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Registration with Social Work England is essential.
• Experience in Adult Social Care and applying relevant legislation in practice.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner organisations, and health professionals to provide integrated care and support.
• Contribute to peer support and supervision, sharing knowledge and best practice across the team.
• Use professional judgement and creative problem-solving to achieve positive outcomes while working within available resources and budget constraints.
• Apply your knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, to support effective decision-making and safeguard adults at risk.
