Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a permanent, full-time Level 1 social worker for the Hospital Social Work Team at Lincoln County Hospital. This post is aimed at newly qualified and early career practitioners, focusing on Care Act 2014 assessments, care and support planning and safeguarding enquiries, with hybrid working and a weekend rota.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified or early career social worker.
• Spoken English at ease; able to advise customers (Fluency Duty).
• Must pass a criminal record check

Job description

This permanent, full-time Level 1 social worker post sits in the Hospital Social Work Team at Lincoln County Hospital and is aimed at newly qualified and early career practitioners. The work centres on Care Act 2014 assessments, care and support planning and reviews, plus safeguarding enquiries and joint working with health colleagues to deliver safe hospital discharges. The team also covers hospitals across northern Lincolnshire and Goole, with a weekend and bank holiday rota of one weekend in five and hybrid working. Candidates should be comfortable with a criminal record check and in spoken English.
