Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team in Torbay, Devon. The role is 37 hours per week on a 3 month+ contract at 42 per hour, with hybrid working options and £150 accommodation support.

You will carry out child and family assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and initial intervention work, ensuring safeguarding and positive outcomes while working with multi-agency partners.

Qualifications

• Undertake statutory assessments and Section 47 investigations
• Develop SMART plans based on risk and need
• Collaborate with families, schools, health professionals, police and other agencies
• Manage a varied caseload with support from managers and practitioners
• Make informed decisions on early intervention or progression to longer-term support services

Responsibilities

• Based in the Devon area, Torbay region, with hybrid working arrangements
• Provide safeguarding and family support to achieve positive outcomes
