Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team in Torbay, Devon. The role is 37 hours per week on a 3 month+ contract at 42 per hour, with hybrid working options and £150 accommodation support.

You will carry out child and family assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and initial intervention work, ensuring safeguarding and positive outcomes while working with multi-agency partners.

Qualifications

• Develop SMART plans based on risk and need
• Collaborate with families, schools, health professionals, police and other agencies
• Manage a varied caseload with support from managers and practitioners
• Make informed decisions on early intervention or progression to longer-term support services

Job description

An exciting opportunity for Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team in the Devon area. You will be based in the coastal town of Torbay. 37 hours a week, 3 month+ contracts on a rate of £42ph in a small well managed team. Based close to the coast and good infrastructure to A30, A38 & M5. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements. £150 accommodation.

You will work closely with multi-agency partners to carry out child and family assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and initial intervention work - ensuring children are safeguarded and families are supported to achieve positive outcomes.
