Full time salaries are:
Level 1 Social Worker (ASYE) £37,035 per annum.
Level 2 Social Worker from £37,938 to £39,513 per annum.
Level 3 Social Worker from £40,476 to £42,708 per annum.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated supervising social worker. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting foster carers and ensuring the best outcomes for children, while also bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the role. You will receive support from a permanent Team Manager with regular supervision, numerous training opportunities and a commitment to your on-going professional development.

My Home Fostering Service consists of three teams. Team 1 is recruitment and assessment team. This team has recently launched the Mockingbird project. Team 2 is the support and supervision team. Team 3 connected carers team also known as kinship care work with friends and family. Each team however work well together to cover the full service. The successful applicant will be working on Team 2.

You will be expected to have a knowledge of Fostering Regulations/National Minimum Standards. You will have a caseload of foster carers whom you will support, supervise, and guide, ensuring they provide high-quality care for the children in their homes. This will involve regular visits, assessments, and providing ongoing training and advice to foster carers, while working closely with the wider team to ensure the best outcomes for the children in placement. The Post holder will also be expected to complete fostering duty alongside all other social worker in the service.

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. We do offer flexible working patterns in line with service requirements.

Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
