Qualifications

• Social Worker qualification: Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Active registration with Social Care Wales or relevant body.
• Experience in Children’s Services and safeguarding.
• Strong assessment, care planning, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs, strengths, and risks for children and families.
• Use the Signs of Safety model for assessments and planning.
• Ensure children’s voices are central in decisions.
• Develop and review care plans to promote positive outcomes.
• Manage caseload with professional accountability.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and education providers.
