Job summary

Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking an ASYE Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Outcomes Service in Bath. You will work within a hub of managers, senior practitioners and frontline staff to deliver child welfare services and assessments for families.

You will conduct single assessments and child protection investigations, coordinating with health, education and adult services to support children and families while maintaining a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with ASYE status or eligible for ASYE
• Experience working with families to support child welfare
• Strong communication and relationship-based practice principles

Responsibilities

• Respond to and coordinate a range of social care services for children, young people and families
• Undertake single assessments and section 47 child protection investigations
• Collaborate with health, education and partner services to support families and keep children safe
