Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Locum Social Worker for the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team in Rotherham. The role offers an attractive £39.45 hourly rate and is available on a full-time or part-time basis, providing flexibility in locum work.

You will conduct DoLS assessments, review cases, and prepare reports while collaborating with families, carers, advocates, and professionals to ensure high standards of care and safeguarding of rights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive DoLS assessments, reviews, and prepare associated reports with a keen eye for detail.
• Carry out assessments of mental capacity and best interests to ensure that individuals receive the care they deserve.
• Engage with individuals, families, carers, advocates, and professionals to facilitate collaborative care planning.
• Safeguard the interests of those you serve by ensuring that appropriate representation and advocacy are in place.
• Meticulously maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is carried out following statutory guidance.
• Identify and challenge any unlawful or disproportionate restrictions to uphold human rights and dignity.
• Collaborate effectively with care providers, health professionals, and other agencies to deliver holistic care.
