Job summary

Devon County Council's Disabled Children's Service in Mid & East Devon is seeking a Social Worker to support disabled children and their families. You will carry out high-quality assessments, advocate for children, and work with partner agencies to secure the right support.

You will build strong relationships, apply restorative approaches, and contribute across statutory responsibilities. A recognised Social Work qualification, SWE registration, ASYE completion, a full UK driving licence, and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of legislation, policy and best practice relating to children's social work.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
• Experience of working within statutory social care, including multi-agency and court settings.
• A recognised Social Work qualification, Social Work England registration, and successful completion of ASYE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills., A suitable DBS check.
