We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join us!

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £38,192 to £42,012 per annumplus an annual retention bonus of £3,000 subject to eligibility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Social Worker to join our Community Team for People with Learning Disability.

The Role:

You will be working as a Social Worker to help Adults with Learning Disabilities lead as full and fulfilling lives as possible.

Your role will involve:

• Located within a multi-disciplinary community team you would be supporting adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers to improve their lives.
• You would be involved in carrying out assessments, undertaking care reviews and supporting care planning.
• You would take part in a duty rota to deal with incidents, safeguarding alerts and information requests.
• You would work as a Social Worker and Health Professionals to protect and promote the interests of vulnerable people.
• Undertake safeguarding investigations and capacity assessments and best interest decisions relating to adults with a learning disability.

What we are looking for:

• A qualified Social Worker with a qualification such as a BA, BSC Diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience of working in a health and social care environment.
• Good understanding of safeguarding protocols.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Committed to working co-operatively as part of a team.
