Job Title: Social Worker - Adults with Learning Disabilities

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join us! This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, offering a salary of £38,192 to £42,012 per annum plus an annual retention bonus of £3,000, subject to eligibility.

The Role

You will be working as a Social Worker within our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities, supporting adults to lead fulfilling lives.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Supporting adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers to improve their quality of life.
  2. Conducting assessments, care reviews, and supporting care planning.
  3. Participating in duty rosters to handle incidents, safeguarding alerts, and information requests.
  4. Collaborating with health professionals to protect and promote the interests of vulnerable adults.
  5. Undertaking safeguarding investigations, capacity assessments, and best interest decisions.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with a BA, BSc, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in health and social care environments.
  • Understanding of safeguarding protocols and relevant legislation.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
