Job summary

Norfolk County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker (Grade J) to join the Central Norwich team on a permanent contract (37 hours per week). You will assess and support adults in the community, applying the Care Act 2014 to deliver proportionate, outcome‑focused support.

Qualifications

• Must be registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
• Strong understanding of Care Act 2014 and safeguarding.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support adults living in the community under CLS model.
• Work with colleagues across teams to deliver person‑centred outcomes.
• Promote independence, resilience and wellbeing through strengths‑based practice.
• Maintain professional judgement and reflect on practice to improve services.
